Hey class, here are some more pictures I took at the East Haven Beach. This little guy seems a bit lonely, but he has his shadow to keep him company. I like the way the foamy wave looks coming up on shore.
I call this one my family of seagulls. I really like the detail on their tails--white polka dots against navy blue...a true fashion statement.

Great Erica... thanks for posting. I wish the white water on the top pic was not so blown out... it like the repetition of all of the seaguls in the bottom pic.
I love how you put both of these shots together...the second is so FULL of "family" whereas the previous one is so very much alone. A total pariah, I like how the bird is turning toward the shadow too...
OMG! East Haven seagulls I love it! Larry is so photogenic from the backside.
